About Us

Guestly is an Indian marketplace for verified homestays, villas and private stays. We connect guests directly with hosts across the country — every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and the price you see is the price you pay, all-in, with no surprises at checkout.

For hosts, Guestly is built to be a fair partner: transparent earnings with no commission taken from hosts, and simple tools for calendars, pricing, guest verification and payouts. When guests need help, real people answer — before, during and after the stay.

We are a small team building hospitality for India, one verified stay at a time.

It started with one set of keys.

A spare room. Then a flat. Then a house that took a year to make ready. We learned the work the way every host learns it — by doing it badly first. Which sheets survive a hundred washes. Why the third photograph matters more than the first. How long a kettle really lasts.

We loved it. Someone arrives a stranger, and leaves having slept under a roof you looked after. That never stopped feeling like something.

And then we met the machinery.

The hosting was the easy half. The hard half was everything wrapped around it.

  • Money that showed up weeks later, if the arithmetic was even explained.
  • A price the guest saw that was never the price we set.
  • Support that answered on Tuesday about a problem from Friday night.
  • Cancellations decided somewhere else, by someone who had never seen the house.
  • And the quiet feeling of being a supplier to a platform rather than a host to a guest.

Guests were getting a version of the same thing: a photograph that flattered, a total that grew at checkout, an address that arrived late, and no real way to know whether the person with the keys was who they claimed to be.

We stopped waiting for someone to fix it, and started writing down what a fair version would look like.

That list became Guestly — and we have spent the last two years building it, carefully.

So we built the thing we wanted.

Not a marketplace that tolerates hosts and tolerates guests. A place that is honest with both, because we have stood in both doorways.

  • One price, start to finish

    What you see in search is what you pay at checkout. Every fee and tax is on the page before you commit to anything.

  • Verified on both sides

    Identity is checked for guests and for hosts. A verified stay means someone actually looked.

  • Hosts paid the day after checkout

    Not in a fortnight, not after an email. The breakdown shows every rupee, including the tax we are required to withhold.

  • A real person, at a real hour

    Support that answers while the problem is still a problem — because Friday night is exactly when things go wrong.

  • The address when it matters

    Approximate area while you browse, so a host is not publishing their front door to the internet. The exact address the moment the booking is confirmed.

  • Your calendar stays yours

    Your prices, your rules, your nights. We sync the calendar; we do not overrule it.

To every guest

You booked a young company on the strength of a few photographs and a promise. You told us when we got it wrong, which is a kindness dressed as a complaint. Every stay you took made the next one better for someone you will never meet.

To every host

You handed your home to strangers on our word. You waited out the early bugs, answered the late messages, and left the light on. Guestly is not a platform you list on — it is the thing we are building with you, and it does not exist without you.

Two years in, we are still early — and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. Careful work takes time, and there is a long way to go. Thank you for coming this far with us.
