Answers for guests booking a stay and for hosts listing one.
Booking, payments, check-in and getting help.
Search by city or browse stays, pick your dates and guests, and pay securely online. Your booking is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through, and everything about it lives under Trips in the app or on the website.
Yes. A Guestly account holds your trips, messages with your host, invoices and check-in details, and it is what lets us confirm who is arriving at someone's home.
Yes. The price shown is the amount you pay — taxes and fees included. There are no surprise additions at checkout.
We accept UPI, debit and credit cards, and net banking through our secure payment partner. Your booking is confirmed only after the payment is verified.
Yes. Enter the code at checkout and the discount is applied to your total before you pay. Only one code applies to a booking, and the price you confirm is the price you are charged.
Some listings book instantly, and others ask the host to confirm first. Your payment is already captured and held against the booking; once the host confirms, it becomes a confirmed trip. If they cannot take it, the booking is cancelled and refunded.
Verification keeps stays safe for both sides — hosts know who is checking in, and it is required before your check-in details are released. Your documents are stored encrypted and are removed if you delete your account.
The full arrival packet — exact location, directions, access details and Wi-Fi — unlocks in your Trip once your booking is confirmed and your ID verification is complete. Until then, listings show the approximate area to protect hosts' privacy.
Each host sets their own times for their listing. You will find them on the listing page before you book and again in your Trip, along with anything else the host wants you to know about arriving.
Yes. Right now every listing on Guestly is an entire place, so you have the whole home to yourself. You know exactly what you have booked, and check-in is the same simple experience every time.
Your booking covers the number of guests you selected, and hosts price and prepare for that number. If your group changes, message your host through the booking before you arrive so it can be sorted properly.
A confirmed booking cannot be edited directly. Use "Get help with this stay" on the booking and our team will look at the options with you and your host — including what the cancellation policy would mean if you rebook.
You can cancel from your Trips page. Your refund depends on the property's cancellation policy shown before you book, and is always returned to the payment method you paid with, typically within about 7 days.
Always back to the card, UPI ID or account you originally paid from — we cannot redirect a refund to a different method. Once it leaves us, the last step depends on your bank, which is why it usually takes about 7 days to appear.
You can chat with your host from your booking, and a call option appears as check-in approaches. For anything else, use "Get help with this stay" on the booking or contact our support team — real people reply, and check-in problems are prioritised automatically.
Chat blocks contact details so that conversations, payments and cancellations stay on Guestly, where they are recorded and we can actually help if something goes wrong. Everything you need for the stay, including how to reach your host, is in your booking.
Once your stay has ended. The option appears on that booking after check-out, so reviews describe a stay that actually happened.
Yes. A GST tax invoice is generated for every booking and can be downloaded from the booking on the website or in the app.
Tap the heart on any listing to add it to your wishlist, and open Wishlist from your profile to come back to it. Saving a place does not hold the dates — those are only reserved once you book.
You can see what we hold, download a copy, and delete your account from Privacy in your profile. Deleting removes your personal data, including any identity documents, and the versioned Privacy Policy in the footer explains exactly what is kept and why.
Listing, earnings, payouts and managing stays.
Tap Become a Host and follow the guided steps — photos, amenities, pricing and availability. Our team reviews every listing before it goes live, and listing is free.
No. Creating a listing and keeping it live is free, and there is no subscription or listing fee.
None. Guestly does not deduct a commission from hosts — the payout you see is what you receive.
Payouts are transferred to your bank account the day after the guest checks out. You can track every booking's earnings in your host dashboard.
Add your bank details in your host dashboard before your first payout. Keep them current — payouts go to whatever account is saved at the time the transfer is made.
Guestly takes no commission. Where statutory deductions such as TDS or GST apply to a payout, they are shown in your earnings breakdown before you confirm your pricing, so you can see the net figure rather than discovering it later.
Entire places — apartments, villas, homestays, farm stays and similar, where the guest has the whole home to themselves. Private or shared rooms are not part of the marketplace at the moment.
You do. You set your base nightly rate and can vary it by weekend or by individual date, add a cleaning fee, and set minimum and maximum stay lengths. Guestly never changes your price for you.
Yes. You can add discounts to a listing from the pricing section, and the reduced price is what guests see on the listing and pay at checkout — so what is advertised always matches what is charged.
Use the calendar in your host dashboard to block dates, open them again, and set prices per day. Blocked dates disappear from search immediately, and a checkout day stays bookable as the next guest's check-in.
Yes. Add the other platform's iCal link to your listing and Guestly imports those bookings so the dates are blocked here too. Keep the link in place — the sync refreshes from it rather than a one-time copy.
With instant book on, a guest with verified details can confirm a stay without waiting for you. With it off, bookings arrive for your confirmation first. You can change this per listing at any time.
Confirmed bookings cannot be cancelled directly by hosts — that protects guests from last-minute surprises. If something genuinely prevents you from hosting, submit a cancellation request from the booking and our operations team will review it with you.
Guests hold a Guestly account and complete identity verification, and their check-in details are only released once that is done. You can also see the booking and guest details for every stay in your dashboard.
Report it through "Get help" on that booking as soon as you can, with photos. It opens a case with our operations team, who will review it with you and the guest. Reporting it on Guestly, rather than settling it privately, is what gives us a record to work from.
Both live in your listing settings. House rules and check-in and check-out times show to guests before they book, while the arrival details — directions, access and Wi-Fi — stay private and are released to the guest only after their booking is confirmed and verified.
Yes. You can run as many listings as you like from the same host account, each with its own calendar, pricing and rules.
The host dashboard is the hub: upcoming and past bookings, your calendar, guest messages, earnings and per-booking invoices are all there, on the web and in the app.
