Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of guestly.in and the Guestly apps, operated by Guestly Hospitality PVT LTD. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them. Hosts additionally agree to the Host Terms; guests to the Guest Terms; both are part of these Terms.

The platform

Guestly is a marketplace: hosts list accommodations, guests book them. A confirmed booking is a contract for accommodation between the guest and the host, facilitated and — for Guestly-managed properties — operated by Guestly. Prices shown to guests are the amount the guest pays: taxes and platform charges are included in the displayed price, with a full breakdown available at checkout and on your tax invoice.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older, provide accurate details, and keep your credentials safe. Identity verification is required before check-in details are released. We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms, following the process in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Bookings and payments

A booking is confirmed when payment is verified (instant book) or when the host accepts within the stated window (request to book — if they do not, you are fully refunded). Payments are processed by our payment provider; Guestly never stores your card or UPI details. Invoices are issued for every eligible booking.

Cancellations and refunds

Guest cancellations follow the listing's cancellation policy, shown before you book; the exact refund is previewed before you confirm any cancellation. Hosts can never directly cancel a confirmed booking — a host must submit a cancellation request that Guestly support reviews and decides. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 7 days. Details: Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Conduct

Keep payments and communication on the platform. Attempts to move payment off-platform, harassment, fraud, misrepresentation, fake reviews and the other behaviours listed in the Acceptable Use Policy can lead to warnings, restrictions or removal.

Content and reviews

Reviews open only after a stay ends and are double-blind until both sides submit or the window closes. You are responsible for content you post; the Content & Review Policy governs moderation, removal and appeals.

Liability

LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: limitation-of-liability, indemnity and force-majeure clauses must be settled by counsel for enforceability under Indian contract and consumer-protection law before this section is published.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: jurisdiction/venue clause and any arbitration mechanism to be settled by counsel consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Changes

Terms are versioned and dated; material changes are notified in-product before they take effect.
